Ikran works on advising clients on data protection compliance, and has supported companies in adopting responsible AI practices. She is an expert member of the Africa AI Policy Lab Working Group (AI and Privacy) and has also contributed to the development process of the Kenya National AI Strategy. In 2025, Ikran was named among the global list of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics.<br \/><br \/>Previously, Ikran consulted with UNESCO, managing the global AI &amp; Rule of Law project.
